Post Election Conference
A bi-annual comprehensive post-election conference, one goal envisioned by Institute Director Bill Lacy, was inaugurated December 8-9, 2006. A panel of prominent national journalists and a bi-partisan slate of pollsters and political strategists reflected on the 2006 midterm election in which Democrats regained control of Congress. The regional session panel of state legislators, regional media reporters, and political practitioners analyzed the Kansas and Missouri election results.
Future post-election conferences will be held.
